About Eben
Popular Nigeria gospel singer and songwriter, Emmanuel Izuchukwu Benjamin, who is popularly called by the stage name Eben, was born on the 9th of September into the family of six as the fifth child and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria in a family where Christian principles were nurtured and encouraged.
He began his musical career in 1994 as a rapper before delving into gospel music in 1997 singing in the youth choir, and later the mass choir at Winners’ Chapel.
In 2019, Eben organised his first Joyful Noize Live in concert featuring polar gospel music artists from Nigeria and internationally including Phil Thompson and Bobfits.
